We are looking to hire a full-time administrative & content marketing assistant to start working on or around October 15th, 2018.

Job Description

We are a local digital marketing agency. One of our awesome marketing assistants is moving back to her home state to be closer to her family. We are looking for someone who is passionate about digital marketing, more specifically content marketing, to take over some of her tasks and several additional tasks we need help with. The hired person will work closely with our small team to create killer marketing content and provide exceptional support to our clients.

Start Date

Immediately or two weeks from job acceptance date

Compensation

$15 / hour

Work Schedule

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a paid 1-hour lunch break, Monday – Friday

Responsibilities

  • Plan and write blog posts
  • Assist with monthly newsletters
  • Assist with bi-weekly podcast episodes
  • Compose email marketing material
  • Take and edit photos
  • Create and curate social media content
  • Attend local events
  • Conduct research on various topics based on clients’ needs
  • Manage client relationships
  • Onboard new clients
  • Assist with other tasks on an as-needed basis

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Exceptional verbal, written and nonverbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn new ideas, skills, and technologies
  • Commitment to quality and punctuality
  • Above average understanding of the most popular social media platforms
  • Basic understanding of marketing
  • Experience with writing blog posts
  • Interest in digital marketing and how it relates to other aspects of running a business
  • Interest in content marketing

Education

College degree or currently working toward a college degree

Professional Experience

1-2 years of marketing, administrative or other business-related work
